Maintenance Technician

Location:
Lower Mainland, BC

Summary:

About the Job/Responsibilities:

Handles necessary repairs and maintenance
Installs equipment and small appliances
Complies with all company safety regulations
Keeps a log on the company's app and writes work reports
Reports any issues to the management
Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion
Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed
Follows written and verbal instructions from the manager
Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed
Reads and follows manuals, and other written instructions.
Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and basic plumbing tools.
Moving heavy furniture and equipment
Climbing ladders and going into crawlspaces as needed

About You/Requirements:

Provide excellent customer service
Must have good written and verbal communication
Technical expertise and Problem-Solving skills
Basic plumbing, electrical, flooring, tiling, carpentry, and locksmith skills
Must be adaptable and have excellent time management
Good sense of direction and ability to use maps or smartphone apps to navigate job sites and work orders
Must have reliable vehicle

Salary:
$22.00-$26.00 per hour
