We are currently seeking Civil Engineering students for work in Finch West LRT Project, located in Woodbridge for 8 months duration starting January 2023.

We are considering students with 4 months co-op term as well.

Essential Functions:

Ensure compliance with the standards of construction designs, plans and specifications
Ensure compliance with the budget of project
Prepare work breakdown structures, quantity takeoffs, and requests for quotes
Participate in preliminary and final cost estimates
Assist the project manager and construction team when help is needed
Prepare all the reports, sketches (related with the scope of work) needed to fulfill the requirements of the contract or according to the Ontario standards
Track the progress billing, cost reports, inventory and quantity tracking
Time sheet for T&M works and deliveries
Perform all other related tasks that will help complete the project

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other equivalent training
Experience with heavy civil works and asset
Experience in structural engineering asset
Excellent MS Excel and MS Word skills, Autocad
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good initiative, attention to details
Ability to work in a team environment

Working Conditions/ Physical Effort:

Able to perform in a fastpaced environment
Prolonged sedentary positioning
Walking, lifting, equipment operation, etc.
Moderate physical activities
Ability to use stairs, ladders and climb over rough terrain
Primary work location is the Project site for Mosaic Transit Group
