Job description
- Up hold, enforce and develop a Preventative Maintenance plan for most if not all equipment within the plant
- Conduct all necessary maintenances to minimize downtime for production lines.
- Assist contracted service technicians and work along side them to gain understanding of machine.
- Diagnose pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic or mechanical problems and complete necessary repairs. (ie. belts, chains, small motors and gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic valves and cylinders.)
- Ability to diagnose and repair issues with Coolers and Freezers.
- Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the company's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment,
- Maintain stock levels of spare parts
- Ensure all work is completed following all plant rules and regulations (GMP and Safety Standards)
- Install and commission new machinery train machine operators on the equipment.
- Suggest and make recommendations to improve the existing infrastructure
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Millwright certification will be an asset.
