Administrative Assistant - Scarborough, Canada - Maximus Solutions
Description
Primary Responsibilities/Duties- Scheduling and coordinating staff; as well as constant maintaining and checking of schedules
- Working closely with the owner and staff to maximize workflow and make sure everything is running smoothly behind the scenes
- Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information
- Ensure deadlines are consistently being met
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in an administrative position, restaurant experience preferred
- Excellent communication in English
- Advanced Microsoft office skills including Excel and Word
- Experienced in scheduling and consistent in meeting deadlines
- Abie to work in fastpaced work environment
- Detail oriented
- Punctual and reliable
- Team player
- Energetic and driven by a "no task is too small" attitude
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
