Position Summary


The Analyst, Customer Reporting and Data Analytics will work to improve efficiency and productivity across our operations reporting, by focusing on the creation of customer reports, data analytics and process improvement.

The majority of the work focuses on the creation and delivery of customer reports. The person in this role will be integral in producing consistent, timely and accurate reports to support customer retention and market differentiation, while actively contributing on the development of our internal processes


Who you'll work with


Along with their Manager, the person in this position will work directly with members of different business units within the organization.

This includes but is not limited to the following departments:


  • HWS teams
  • Assessments, Occupational Health, Disability Management, Healthy Support Solutions
  • Sales (Account Management, Business Development)
  • Product
  • Marketing

What you'll be doing:


  • Use analysis techniques to produce reports and outline data
  • Clean data and contribute to the delivery of high data quality
  • Develop and maintenance of our reporting systems, report templates, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions within Excel and various BI tools
  • Timely and consistent delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics
  • Analyze and visualize data in areas such as clinical outcomes and client experience, summarizing data into useful insights
  • Consistently approach work with the goal of increasing efficiency, looking for opportunities to redesign and improve processes
  • Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables of reporting
  • Optimize processes for data intake, validation, visualization and communication deliverables
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.
  • Tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Ensure quality controls that have been implemented are met and up to departmental standards

What you need to be successful:

  • University or College degree in health sciences, psychology, business or analytics
  • Previous experience in data analytics and customer reporting
  • SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries an asset.
  • Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
  • Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (familiarity with pivot tables, formulas, charts, graphs, etc.), and previous experience working with and manipulating data
  • Experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business outcomes.
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills, able to tailor your message to the audience specifically able to translate data into clear stories
