The position at a glance


The Transaction Banking Americas division provides solutions to improve and optimize the working capital of financial institutions and corporate clients worldwide.

This division encompasses four different businesses operating as a strategic unit to address core client needs:


  • Liquidity & Investment Advisory (LIA) is a product line responsible for increasing deposit volume and quality, by offering a full product continuum and a superior liquidity advisory service for the CIB corporate client base.
  • International Cash Management provides solutions that enable our clients to manage and optimize their cash flows and liquidity worldwide by leveraging the BNP Paribas global network.
  • Transaction Solutions for Banks supports the BNP Paribas global network and provides thirdparty financial institutions worldwide with comprehensive services to meet their domestic clients' international payment and trade needs.
  • Global Trade Solutions is to provide clients with services and tailored solutions to mitigate risk in trade transactions, propose financing and optimize working capital management. The two main product lines are Traditional Trade and Supply Chain Finance.

In detail
Manage portfolio of projects and end to end implementation of Transaction Banking products including Cash Management and Trade Finance mandates

  • Facilitate the onboarding of clients to products with emphasis on cash management
  • Work closely with the sales teams to understand client requirements for products / services / solutions towards managing postsales relationship with clients.
  • Satisfy service level expectations and other productspecific requirements with clients, including documentation
  • Implement deals expeditiously to improve Time to Revenue
  • Understand technical requirements for system integrations of global product channels
  • Collaborate and coordinate with operations teams for seamless transition or startup of services
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through periodic review of BNPP process and service levels taking corrective action as required with Operations / Product / Sales
  • Coordinate and participate with the Sales team in selling new product propositions / solutions and active participation in responding to Request For Proposals (RFPs)
  • Work closely with Product / IT for development and implementation of product gaps, new products and customized solutions
  • Support Product team with rollout of new products
  • Participate in presales discussions with clients including presentations to clients on BNPP's products / solutions.
  • Develop and maintain updated implementation procedures
  • Cross train team members

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
Minimum required qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business and or Economics
  • Minimum 10 years' experience with Transaction Banking products, client service, implementation, or sales, specifically International and Domestic Cash Management with some knowledge of trade finance
  • Superior organization and multitasking skills
  • Can work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills the role will require frequent interaction across stakeholders
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency with respect to deadlines and the responsibility at hand
  • Strong written and presentation skills, including synthesis of data
  • Knowledge of the English language is required

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of ERP functions & integration of systems with Electronic Banking Platforms
  • Experience with payments in US, CA, EMEA and local markets including understanding of XML, MT101 file formats
  • Spanish is an asset
