Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time permanent
Manufacturing Engineering Planner _(Mechanical Engineering Technologist)_
- Intermediate or Senior at our manufacturing hub in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The successful incumbent will introduce new components and technologies into production in support of cost effective, high quality products

Essential Responsibilities

Introduce new components and technologies into production in support of cost effective, high quality products;
Develop and optimizing manufacturing processes, and preparing detailed process instructions to define the manufacturing processes;
Work with internal and external contacts on matters concerning product definition, tooling, inspection, scheduling, corrective actions, and continuous improvements;
Create and maintaining product definition, tooling, process certification, and shop order routings;
Investigate and dispositioning nonconformances;
Provide shop floor liaison for resolution of technical matters.

Position Requirements

Postsecondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology; OR equivalent industry experience
Minimum of 3 to 6 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment (for Intermediate level);
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment (for Senior level);
Experience in sheet metal detail manufacturing, machining components, pneumatic and hydraulic hardware/systems, composite manufacturing, heat treating and forming operations;
Experience using CINCOM would be considered an asset.
