The Corporate Accounting & FP&A Analyst will be part of the corporate team and will support management with regards to financial and management reporting, financial planning & analysis, internal controls and tax compliance and assist in providing and maintaining reliable and timely accounting information and analysis to support and recommend actions.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build strong working relationships with all administrative staff across the entire Dumas business based on trust and respect so that the full range of expert knowledge available are involved in decisionmaking processes.
Own and manage the preparation of the group consolidated reporting and workbook, including intercompany eliminations.
Support the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial and management reporting.
Support the budget and forecasting process, including managing the master forecast file.
Assist in report preparation relating to budget and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses based on past, present, and expected operations.
Identify and monitor conformance to plan by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecast.
Guiding costprojection processes by enforcing policies and procedures, providing forecasts, explaining and enhancing processes.
Collect operational data on costeffectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Manage the fixed assets register and all transactions relating to fixed assets including: acquisitions, disposals, capital leases and componentization.
Assist in the cash forecasting process and establish a strong cash awareness throughout the organisation.
Assist in the continuous improvement mindset for financial processes, systems and reporting and reduce cycle times in invoice to cash and monthend close.
Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or any science or businessrelated field desired.
A professional accounting designation CGA, CMA or CA is desired, but not required, however a strong understanding of accounting must be demonstrated along with a desire to obtain an accounting designation.
Minimum 3 years' experience in similar finance area, preferably in the construction or mining industry.
Excellent analytical/numerical skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; experience in report generation tools such as PowerBI or SQL Reporting services.
Has worked and prepared reporting under IFRS is desired, but not required.
An understanding of internal controls and a control environment.
Strong English language skills, both written and spoken required. Spanish a plus.
Must possess a strong knowledge and practical use of Excel, including pivot tables, and proficiency in PowerPoint. Knowledge of PowerBI a plus.
Able to demonstrate excellent problemsolving skills.
Able to demonstrate good financial modeling ability.
Has potential to grow within the organization.
