Position Description Summary
Responsible for proactively securing new business to gain market share and profitability.
He/she visits client sites to sell solutions, and keep clients informed of all aspects of customs laws and regulations, present, new or proposed.
This position requires extensive technical expertise gained through the CSCB license, coupled with more than 5 years of experience in the customs industry.
Principal Accountabilities
- Actions audits, DAS's, refunds, appeals, adjudications.
- Manages consulting projects
- Liaises between our clients and CBSA/CRA.
- Proactive communications with clients to market consulting services.
- Performs in depth analysis to identify potential consulting opportunities within client base.
- Prepares consulting reports outlining recommendations, revenue gains and possible AMPS penalties.
- Produces weekly reports.
- Coordinates with Client Service regarding customer concerns.
- Onboards new consulting accounts.
- Designs marketing pieces on consulting services, customs updates etc.
- Participates in committees
- CAIE, CSCB, CTACC, CMA.
- Prepares mailers for customers on new services, customs issues etc.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
