Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing aliquots.
- Collecting experimental data, verifying results and passing on findings.
- Following rules and procedural instructions when restocking glassware in laboratories and/or store rooms.
- Paying close attention to occupational safety precautions.
- Ordering supplies with approval.
- Providing orientation to others on work procedures and practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Life Science, Chemical Engineering or a similar field or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum one year related experience in a laboratory.
- Experience with PRC, Western blotting.
- Experience with immunostaining.
- Experience with flow cytometry and FACS.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
- Mammalian cell culture skills.
- Knowledge of basic cell and molecular biology.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment; demonstrated initiative and judgment; attention to detail; good laboratory practices.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.
