The Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME) is a multidisciplinary research community where investigators across engineering, medicine and dentistry collaborate to develop innovative solutions that address global challenges in human health.

Your opportunity:

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing aliquots.
Collecting experimental data, verifying results and passing on findings.
Following rules and procedural instructions when restocking glassware in laboratories and/or store rooms.
Paying close attention to occupational safety precautions.
Ordering supplies with approval.
Providing orientation to others on work procedures and practices.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Life Science, Chemical Engineering or a similar field or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
Minimum one year related experience in a laboratory.
Experience with PRC, Western blotting.
Experience with immunostaining.
Experience with flow cytometry and FACS.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Effective communication (oral and written) skills.
Mammalian cell culture skills.
Knowledge of basic cell and molecular biology.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment; demonstrated initiative and judgment; attention to detail; good laboratory practices.
Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols.

Experience with stem cell culturing
