The LDB is one of two branches of government responsible for the cannabis and liquor industry of B.C.

We operate the wholesale distribution of beverage alcohol and non-medical cannabis within the province, as well as the household retail brands of BC Liquor Stores and BC Cannabis Stores.

About this role:


The Organizational Change Management Advisor partners with key business leaders to design and implement organizational change management initiatives to help achieve business strategy and transformational objectives.


This position consults and partners with the business and engages with stakeholders from all levels (frontline to executive) to minimize the impact of change initiatives, and ultimately drive people's adoption of the change.

The Organizational Change Management Advisor works with stakeholders to determine mutually agreed upon needs, solutions, roles & responsibilities, outcomes, and metrics of success, and executes comprehensive organizational change management strategies and plans across the organization.

Special requirements and working conditions include the ability to travel overnight within the Province of British Columbia. A successful completion of a criminal record check is required.

Position requirements:


Education and Experience:


Degree or diploma related to communications, business administration, human resources or equivalent discipline, and a minimum of 2 years of recent and related experience* in organizational change management.

OR


An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered for applicants that have HR related certifications or are actively pursuing HR related education, with a minimum of 4 years of recent and related experience* in organizational change management.


  • Recent, and related experience must have occurred in the last 6 years and must include the following:
  • Experience working with stakeholders on change projects (example of activities: impact assessments, change analysis, debriefing and lessons learnt).
  • Experience working directly with end users on change solutions.
