Description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing conversations with prospective accounts to build a relationship, determine needs for the product, and upsell or cross-sell opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • You will:
  • Meet or exceed the defined monthly sales quota
  • Identify customer needs and establish value by presenting how Sage could be a possible solution to the decisionmaker.
  • Manage customer questions and potential concerns
  • Document all sales activity and provide management with updates as required
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of sales opportunities
  • Manage time appropriately to ensure that SPE productivity standards and KPIs are met on a regular basis
  • Understand competitive offerings and counter strategies
  • Build and sustain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate ability to achieve and exceed revenue targets

Responsibilities:


  • Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B sales, valuebased solution sales, telemarketing, outbound sales, inbound sales, account management, or business development in the hightech or SaaS industry.
  • Excellent French & English communication skills in writing, speaking, and active listening.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, Marketing, or Technology preferred.
  • Proven ability to converse with and influence decisionmakers.
  • Experience in MS Office Suite, Word and Excel, MS Outlook, Fusion Order Entry, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritizing, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record of success in a high volume/transactional sales environment.
The compensation will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience.

Certain provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range applicable to the role.

For this role, in those locations, the expected OTE range for this role is $70,000-$74,000. OTE includes base salary and commission, which may or may not be earned depending on performance.
