We are looking for a highly motivated individual, who is passionate about strategy and business planning to join our Investment Finance Team


Responsibilities Include:
Support the Director of Business Planning in the overall 2023 business planning process that will generate IMCO's 2024 Business Plan and Budget
Stakeholder interaction:

Provide facilitation support to help leadership teams across all major functional areas identify resourcing needs for regular business operations (i.e., business as usual activities), strategic projects, and corporate initiatives. Support the enterprise planning partners (Financial Planning and Analysis, Human Resources, Information Technology, Enterprise Risk Management, Enterprise Project Management Office) with regular meetings to conduct planning and analysis. Coordinate and support all aspects of internal stakeholder meetings (e.g., create and manage meeting invites, communication of meeting objectives, issue supporting materials, take meeting minutes, confirm action items, follow up on outstanding action items, etc.) Establish and maintain communication linkages with internal leaders across a range of levels and business areas. Planning and analysis:
  • Assess information gathered from functional business areas to generate an enterprise roadmap of proposed projects and initiatives.
Assess crossfunctional resourcing requirements for proposed projects and initiatives to identify capacity constraints and propose sequencing options. Support prioritization of proposed projects and initiatives through high quality information collection to inform business case analysis. Analyze FTE requirements by function to assess resourcing allocations to execute strategy, develop key capability gaps, and/or alleviate regular operating constraints. Conduct postmortem on the business planning process to generate lessons learned and suggest process improvements. Business materials preparation: Support the creation of business planning templates (e.g., business unit planning template, business case template for corporate initiatives, etc.) Create various presentation decks that summarize information to inform business decision(s) (e.g., read out summary of resourcing levels from facilitated discussions with business units, draft business plan and budget overview materials, analyses of enterprise resourcing allocations, etc.) Support the development and management of the enterprise roadmap of projects and initiatives.
