- Implementation of geological and hydrogeological assessments involving drilling, well installation, permeability testing, soil and water sampling, borehole instrumentation and management of contractors.
- Travel as required to conduct field programs and meet project needs.
- Interpretation and reporting of groundwater flow and quality data.
- Preparation of graphical and GIS deliverables.
- Development of three-dimensional conceptual geologic models.
- Bachelor's Degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, Hydrogeology or a related engineering discipline (Environmental, Chemical, etc.)
- At least 2 years of experience conducting geological, hydrogeological and/or geochemical assessments.
- M.Sc. or higher degree in earth sciences, geology, hydrogeology or related engineering discipline (environmental, chemical, etc.)
- Eligible to register as a Professional Geoscientist or Engineer with EGBC.
- A strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel software packages.
- Working knowledge and experience with industry-standard software packages such as gINT, AQTESOLV, GRAPHER, AQUACHEM, EVS, FEFLOW, MODFLOW, SEEP/W, PHREEQC, GoldSim, etc. is desirable.
- Experience with GIS and database management software is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong decision making and communication skills.
- Valid British Columbia driver's license.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.

We are looking for candidates that are enthusiastic, team oriented professionals with strong technical capabilities in geology. In this role, you will work with our experienced team of geologists on projects in the mining, waste management, remediation and water supply sectors in Western and Northern Canada as well as internationally.
