JOB OVERVIEW:


The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator is involved in developing and implementing Easton's Group of Hotels communication adhering to the Standard Operating Practices.

The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator will assist with promoting the company and hotels by developing and executing social media strategies and plans for brand building, innovation, corporate promotions, and internal communications initiatives through the use of, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

This role will also provide mentorship and necessary training, allowing you to hone your content creation skills for future roles.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assist with developing, implementing and measuring external and internal Social Media posts for Easton's Group of Hotels properties.
  • Assist with the creation and execution of Food and Beverage Outlet promotions using various platforms, such as OpenTable, IG, etc.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Social Media programs and communicate results to the business every quarter or as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Current experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing and Hotel Hospitality

Excellent command of (written) English, including creative, solid copywriting and editing skills.

French written language is an asset in assisting two Pointe-Claire, Quebec hotels.

Advanced knowledge of Social Media platforms - Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram,

Knowledge of analytics, tracking and social media monitoring and scheduling.

Willingness and ability to create social media posts daily or upon request.

Knowledge of digital media software - Canva or other graphic design software is preferred

Detail-oriented and possess excellent verbal, written, communication and interpersonal skills


Skills:


A clear understanding of post timing, placement, and effectiveness of messaging.- Experience in Hotel and Food and Beverage promotion an asset.- Ability to analyze post timings for effective impact on engagement and following- Ability to work on one's own to create posts for approval.- Be customer-focused and understand the differences in the audience regarding Easton's Group of Hotels and other hotels.
