steel Knowledge and previous sales experience with excellent communication and math skills preferred

Computer use:
Windows/Apple based computing, use of Excel and Word will be required at times. Post-secondary Technical education may be an asset.
Experience: 3 years or more sales experience preferred: Varsteelwill train the right applicant.

Steel and Steel Processing:
Service and sales distribution of raw steel shapes and processed Steel products when required by customers.

Specific Skills:

Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients, Assess client's needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods and services, Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service, Deliver sales presentations, Prepare and administer sales contracts, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, Resolve product and service related problems.

Transportation/Travel Information:
Own vehicle, Valid driver's licence
