**The Opportunity
**The Corporate Real Estate Project Specialist will support the Corporate Real Estate team. The individual will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the office space from a Facilities perspective. The individual will handle contract administration, coordination, tendering and smaller scale projects for multiple premises in Canada.


In addition, the Corporate Real Estate Project Specialist will support the Corporate Real Estate Director with major projects and have exposure to a diversity of related Facilities tasks and functions, that are assigned when required on ad hoc basis, as directed by management.


Responsibilities

  • Work closely with employees and BU representatives to support their facilities/space needs.
  • Responsible for small to medium scale electrical, cabling and relocation needs.
  • Work closely with vendors, coordination, quotes, and processing of invoices
  • Handle coordination, tendering and oversight of key contracts for security, cleaning, UPS, generators and building amenities.
  • Manage on and offsite equipment storage inventory
  • Responsible for financials by preparing small scale project budgets, monitor costs and process invoicing
  • Use Procore to ensure all project documentation is provided and up to date at the end of projects.
  • Use CMMS to manage work orders, preventative maintenance visitor management and incident management functions.
  • Work closely with Building Operations staff to ensure base building projects are effectively coordinated and communicated to the Manulife staff.
  • Work closely with Corporate Real Estate's student workers and in some locations, day porters, electricians and security staff to coordinate activities
  • Responsible for coordinating and documenting various department meetings with minutes, agendas and schedules.
  • Assist CRE Director with sustainability and technology projects as needed.

What we are looking for

  • Ability to professionally interact with all employees and BU representatives to provide excellent customer service
  • Foster and efficiently liaise with BU representatives, and external consultants
  • Excellent problemsolving and communications skills
  • Knowledge of design and construction an asset
  • Good understanding of building systems, mechanical and electrical.
  • General knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • College diploma in an architectural/interior design/projectfacility management program is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years in a related role
  • Required to be proficient in English, (Bilingual in French would be an asset)
