Job Description:


The Data Governance Analyst will work as part of the IT team to ensure the effective management, protection, and utilization of the organization's data assets.

The analyst will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks associated with data management and ensuring that data-related policies, procedures, and standards are enforced.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement data quality standards, and ensure that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
  • Monitor data access and usage to ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
  • Work with the IT team to establish and maintain metadata and data lineage management processes.
  • Maintain the organization's data catalog and ensure that it is accurate, uptodate, and accessible.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize datarelated projects and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to endusers on data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify and assess datarelated risks and provide recommendations for mitigating those risks.
  • Work with the IT team to ensure that data integration and migration processes comply with data governance standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to promote data governance awareness and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data governance or data management.
  • Knowledge of data governance best practices and data protection regulations.
  • Experience with metadata and data lineage management tools.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
