ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


As a member of the product marketing team, the Product Marketing Assistant supports all marketing activities that contribute to raising product awareness, delivering go-to market plans, and meeting business objectives for the Civil and Transportation business unit.


Planning & Research

  • Understand target markets, decision maker personas, customer workflows, segmentation strategy, and how the new products support these markets.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales enablement materials specific to the buyer journey and in collaboration with regional marketing teams.
  • Support the ongoing improvement of the buyer's journey and experience.
  • Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics to measure campaign efficiency and analyze trends.
  • Assist in monitoring and enhancing product demand, building the pipeline, and carrying out competitive research on market trends and changes.
  • Help organize and coordinate events such as webinars, user training, and customer conferences.
  • Provide administrative support for a variety of marketing activities.

Content Creation

  • Assist in the development of customerfacing collaterals including blogs, case studies, webinar content, and data sheets to showcase each product's unique value proposition.
  • Support SEO, SEM, paid social initiatives, and post regularly on social media accounts.

Project Management and Communication

  • Support the project management aspects with planning, executing, and monitoring marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Support the coordination of all aspects of gotomarket plans, liaising with Product Management, Regional Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing, including google analytics.
  • Use a CRM system for coordinating and sharing leads with the sales teams.
  • Assist in managing internal communications to ensure key stakeholders are aware of marketing programs goals, plans, and outcomes.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related or equivalent experience.
  • 12 years experience in marketing or a related field. B2B environment preferred. Experience with software or highly technical companies is an asset.
  • Experience with social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Has experience or familiarity with working with CRM and Marketing Automation software. Marketo experience is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with project management, productivity, or GTD solutions such as Asana and Microsoft Planner.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and use of Google Adwords and Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, et cetera).
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
