What you'll be doing

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 13 days per week onsite, while other days will be remote._

How you'll succeed

Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
Communicate quality standards and parameters to team members.
Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens and content.
Identify and analyze recurring issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, recommending and facilitating solutions to these issues.
Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
Ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures and maintain compliance with laws, regulations and guidelines.
Translate functional and technical requirements, creative briefs, wireframes, and comps into corresponding test strategy, test plan and test cases.
Collaborate with Project Management and Development staff through all stages of the Project lifecycle.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.

Who you are

You can demonstrate experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst in a relevant role.
Knowledge of QA techniques and processes through a software lifecycle.
Handson experience with automated testing tools.
Experience with accessibility testing to ensure product's conformance to the Web Content Accessibility (WCAG) 2.0, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Web accessibility best practices.
Quality focused, ensuring every piece of work is delivered defect free and with the highest possible quality.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
