Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently seeking a
Global Market Development & Strategy Lead to support the Business Development team in Minerals & Metals (M&M) pursuits.
This individual will be responsible for monitoring the market to help identify opportunities and trends, and will develop value propositions for key mining & mineral project pursuits, ensuring quality submissions and overseeing key account management within the minerals & metals industry.
This is a business-critical role to support the aggressive growth of the minerals & metals business, in alignment with Wood's corporate strategies.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supporting the Global VP Business Development for Minerals & Metals in client engagements, with a focus on building the pipeline of Studies and EPCM mining projects across all regions.
- Coordinate multipronged Global mining strategy and develop key account management plans for high priority potential customers.
- Ensure customer focus in presentations and marketing materials.
- Lead the development of value propositions to form the basis of strategic business pursuits.
- Support mining events, participation in sponsorships with a strategy focused on educating our target markets, building business relationships, and increasing brand recognition.
- Manage and track client engagement with oversight on the Wood CRM
- Develop and maintain Key Account Management plans for strategic clients.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and evolution of Wood's Minerals & Metals marketing and business growth strategy.
- Play a lead role in planning and implementing major strategic proposals.
- Collaborate with internal and external communications teams with public relations, media, and social media efforts.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, relevance to mining and minerals/metals processing an asset.
- Must have 1520 years relevant experience in a mining Consulting/ EPCM environment.
- Knowledge of S&P Capital IQ Pro market intelligence platform is an asset
- Will have previous experience in a Marketing / Proposal / BD type role, with specific knowledge and understanding of pulling together executive level presentations.
- Demonstrated success in putting global strategies in place to support growth initiatives.
- Prior experience developing and maintaining key account management.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple offices and geographies
- Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
