The co-op program at Softchoice exists to provide real life business experience for students. Our co-op students are hired for the fresh ideas and wealth of knowledge they bring to our Softchoice teams.

Demand Generation & Corporate Events Coordinator

You may not have locked in your exact career path yet but you do have passion for Marketing, in particular Demand Generation, coordinating events that help support and drive business opportunities, foster customer relationships and attract new buying accounts.

Leveraging various channels to promote marketing activities will just be the tip of the iceberg for this role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our best in class Corporate Events team, along with the extended teams of Digital Marketing, Digital Program Managers, Creative and Organic Social teams.

You will be an active member of our team, contributing to the execution of Softchoice's marketing campaigns.

As a leading IT Solutions and Managed Services partner, this position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience within the digital B2B IT space.

This includes exposure to industry leading partners like Adobe, Cisco, Google, Lenovo, Microsoft and VMware who count on Softchoice to market their solutions to our customers.

We're looking for people who:

Have the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects of varying kinds in a fastpaced changing environment
Demonstrates strong writing and communication skills
Is extremely organized
Has boundless creativity and the ability to make every event experience and marketing campaign valuable and exciting
Have the ability to collaborate successfully with an internal working group to support a large customerfacing virtual conference, "Softchoice Now" with the goal of driving customer engagement and opportunities for the business
Coordinate required printing, signage, etc. as required for event/marketing campaigns
Collaborate with internal designer to create hero images and graphics for each event/social post
Assist with postevent analysis including reporting on event registration, attendance and survey responses
Comfortable with writing social media posts content for platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter that promote our customerfacing corporate events
Enrollment in a Marketing, Events or related program with a coop option Experience with event management is an asset
1+ years working / coop experience
An analytical ability to derive meaning from data
An understanding that content relevance and event experience design is key
Additional experience using Asana, Eloqua, GotoWebinar and Microsoft Teams would be an asset
