Purpose of Role:

_ _The site Buyer is accountable for multiple responsibilities including the ability to plan and forecast Raw Materials and Finished Goods, monitor Inventory, data analytics and maintain a strong Supply Base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus Area: Provide general Purchasing support for site
  • Focus Area: Manage Supply Base; build relationships and monitor performance of key/critical Suppliers
  • Focus Area: Continually seek and record cost savings
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and indepth knowledge and experience gained through a minimum of 5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experienced user of Oracle ERP preferred, Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience in the areas of purchasing / sourcing / supplier management, data & analytics, reporting / KPIs, and/or project management are highly preferred (but not all are required).
  • The ability to solve a variety of complex problems. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Takes a new perspective using existing policies, and practices.
  • Ability to travel within North America as required.
