Coordinator, Marketing
FTE (37.5 hrs/week)
$50,000 annual salary


Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation is poised to launch the largest campaign for childhood disability in history, which will have an impact on kids worldwide.


The Coordinator, Marketing is a member of Holland Bloorview's joint communications and public engagement (CPE) team, which is comprised of both hospital and foundation colleagues.

Working in collaboration, they build brand awareness, promote disability inclusion, and engage the community to support philanthropic giving to Holland Bloorview.


This role is hybrid in nature, with a combination of work-from-home and "on site as-needed" for in-person interviews, special events, team-building activities etc.

Our team members are empowered to take ownership of their schedules and workflows, however occasional evenings and weekends are required.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Project Management**- Coordinate the planning and successful rollout of marketing activities including creating timelines, communicating updates, coordinating approvals, troubleshooting issues and ensuring all deliverables are on-time and on-budget

  • Act as point of contact for crossteam projects supporting projects from intake to completion through effective and ongoing communication
  • Develop effective working relationships across foundation departments, hospital teams, and with external partners including vendors
  • Assist with graphic design, video, writing, website, and photography activities as needed
  • Assist with metrics monitoring and analysis related to marketing and communications activities

Social Media Coordination

  • Support creating and executing innovative and compelling audiencefirst social media content that engages audiences, strengthens Holland Bloorview's reputation, and advances the organization's brand, advocacy, and fundraising objectives
  • Assist with developing social media content calendars including internally and externally sourced content, and custom posting strategy for each platform and audience
  • Provide excellent community management across all platforms, including daily monitoring, to engage supporters and donors and other key audiences
  • Assist with developing and monitoring internallymanaged paid digital advertising campaigns, and collaborate on strategy for externallymanaged campaigns

Administration

  • Support Communications and Public Engagement activities as needed e.g. photo and video shoots, Ambassador coordination, scheduling, and event coverage
  • Assist in improving and maintaining efficient systems, processes, and files
  • Analyze social performance against key performance indicators and industry benchmarks
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Postsecondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field or 2 years related work experience; agency experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in the area of marketing and social
