Plasman Global Headquarters is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:

Regional Human Resources Lead


The Regional Human Resources Lead is accountable for the development, implementation and coordination of human resources policies and practices for the region.

Directs and coordinates human resource activities in compliance with Company philosophy, objectives, and legal requirements. Recommends and implements programs and policies that create or reinforce a positive employee relations atmosphere enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Accountable for the development and implementation of competitive and equitable salary administration for all employees, administration of employee benefits, and acquisition and retention of qualified personnel.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Oversee all Human Resources activity in the region
  • Develop staff and retain a productive group of HR professionals by mentoring, coaching, and providing performance feedback.
  • Develop and interpret human resources departmental policies. Recommend, implement, and maintain employee relations, policies, procedures, systems, and programs.
  • Determine employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employeremployee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.
  • Identify legal requirements and direct the preparation of information requested or required for compliance. Act as a primary contact with outside government agencies.
  • Analyze regional wage, salary, and benefit trends to ensure market competitiveness and position Plasman as an Employer of Choice.
  • Oversee and carry out effective and appropriate communications across the organization to promote employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives along with developing positive employee morale.
  • Primary contact for all external contacts related to human resources including insurance carriers and brokers, consultants, vendors.
  • Create & cascade annual goals and objectives for the organization. Document and evaluate results in relation to the established goals.
  • Ensure personal and associate awareness and understanding of ISO 14001 and IATF includes ISO 9001) Standards, and company policies and procedures. During management system audit events provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards and procedures and participate in corrective action activities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Must possess a university degree in Business Management, Human Resources, or related field.
  • SHRP and CHRP an asset.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ten (10) years leadership experience with a recent focus in the Human Resources field of no less than three (3) years
  • Generalist background with broad knowledge of employment, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations and training and development.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


  • High energy level. Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, develop solutions, and make decisions on complex or unique issues.
  • Effective communication skills. Ability to present ideas persuasively and develop extended Company communication vehicles negotiation, influencing, delivering business presentations, coaching, counseling to engender confidence and credibility.
  • Ability to perform well in high pressure situations Possess sound financial and business insights
