Description

As a Verification & Validation (V&V) Planner, your role will be to plan all the tests required in the Boucherville laboratory and to be the link between the verification and validation department and the product development team.

You will also be responsible for planning, deploying and following up on the tests performed in the external laboratory. You will ensure that tests run smoothly while optimizing the use of the laboratory's various resources

You will also be responsible for planning, deploying and following up on the tests performed in the external laboratory. You will ensure that tests run smoothly while optimizing the use of the laboratory's various resources


Your challenges

  • Coordinate and plan functional and nonfunctional testing activities to meet client needs
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining the allocation of testing resources required for projects (planned vs. actual)
  • Implement and optimize the laboratory planning system
  • Maintain and update laboratory planning on a daily basis
  • Facilitate and organize the followup validation meetings
  • Coordinate project activities on a daily basis with the resources involved and act as a communication bridge between the different teams in order to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the projects.
  • Responsible for creating, measuring and reporting laboratory KPIs
  • Responsible for coordinating tests performed in an external laboratory or satellite site
  • Contribute to develop and maintain processes, tools and work methods to improve project performance

Your Strengths

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a combination of a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience
  • 5+ years in project management or planning in engineering product development
  • Knowledge and implementation of "stage gate" product development processes (asset)
  • PMP Project Management Certification (Asset)
  • Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated communication skills and meeting facilitation skills
  • Ability to influence, manage and mobilize teams
  • Demonstrate rigor, proactivity and autonomy
  • Bilingual French and English
