Responsibilities:
- Carry out the daily operation (regulatory monitoring and reporting process adjustments, chemical transferring and maintenance) of the facilities
- Complete and compile data of daily inspections, monitoring, and sampling as required
- Report operational problems to the supervisor
- Perform maintenance tasks as requested by the supervisor
- Perform laboratory analysis and reporting
- Perform maintenance on equipment
- Help the supervisor with the preparation of monthly an annual reports
- On call duties as per the schedule set out by the supervisor
- Participate and comply with all aspects of the company's health and safety program"
Mandatory Requirements:
- Level 2 certification in all 4 categories (WT, WWT, WWC, WDS)
- Valid Class 5 Alberta driver's licence, a driver's abstract will be required
- Ability to lift 25 kg (55lb)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Problem solving skills, and ability to work with limited supervision
- Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge
- Hand and power tool knowledge"
