Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow territory revenue and market share
- Cold call and build relationships to secure new business within target segments
- Manage key accounts and maximize sales opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize sales processes and achieve targets
Required Skills & Competencies:
- 36 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in industries like drillers/rigs, environmental consulting, or instrumentation
Sales Process Management:
- Generate, maintain, manage, and close all personal Opportunities throughout the sales processes.
- Responsible for the management and performance of Leads throughout the sales processes.
- Work to optimize all Lead & Opportunity processes and play a key role in the implementation of continual improvement.
- Ensure all Lead & Opportunity processes and standards are fully integrated and utilized amongst the sales team.
Sales Cycle:
- Prepare personal annual sales forecasts and participate in annual budgeting.
- Participate and remain accountable for the implementation of sales plans, strategies, and tactics to achieve results.
- Gather and share market intelligence with management to help make optimal pricing, marketing, and sales decisions.
- Complete business reviews and plans as per established processes.
- Create, manage, and update records in CRM to track progress and measure performance.
- Enhance market awareness and acceptance of products and services.
- Ensure all sales processes and standards are fully utilized within workflow.

- Must have experience selling in these key larlets: Environmental and Geotechnical (Drillers), Environmental Consultants, and Resource Based End Users (Mining).

- Proactive selfstarter with an entrepreneurial work ethic.
- Sales territory strategy and forecasting skills based on general business skills, market knowledge, evaluation skills, and appropriate judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities and successfully close business. Proficiency in cold calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Major account management skills, including the ability to deal effectively with contacts at various levels, including senior management and field operations.
- Excellent business acumen to maximize sales and profitability.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Resultsoriented with exceptional relationshipbuilding abilities.
- Technical expertise on products and technologies to interpret project requirements and assist customers with technical design/requirements and product specification creation.
- Ability to verbally communicate openly, clearly, and concisely with individuals and groups to achieve understanding and acceptance.
- Outstanding critical thinking and problemsolving skills. Ability to assemble all facts before making decisions yet can still make sound decisions in the absence of detailed knowledge.

- Ability to influence/work with others to achieve departmental goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Physical Demands / Working Conditions:
- Frequent travel is required, often up to several hours per day.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 4 years in successfully utilizing professional sales systems such as Sandler, SPIN, or Miller Heiman.
- Minimum of 2 years in successfully utilizing systems such as CRM, ERP, or OMS.
- Previous experience in target markets and product lines, along with industry contacts, is an asset.
Additional Details:
- Salary Range: $70,000$90,000 + Commission (On Target 35% of Salary) Uncapped
- Vacation: 3 weeks
- Benefits: Dental, Health (Employer Paid), Health Spending $200/annually
- Additional Allowances: Company Vehicle, Fuel Card, Phone, Laptop
- Travel: 20% (Mostly Day trips), 15% out of town (East Coast)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
- Remote Work: Onroad with occasional office visits
Pay:
$70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
