About the Hotel The Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is a 128-room hotel, owned and operated by Easton's Group of Hotels. Located just off of the 401 hwy, it features 2 meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and a pool with a 100-ft water slide.

Courtyard by Marriott Kingston is looking for someone with a knack for efficient and courteous service to join our team of amazing Bistro staff as a Food and Beverage Supervisor (Maternity Leave Coverage)**
What will you be doing?

Assisting in the management of the food and beverage outlet to ensure that quality and service standards are met and maximize food and beverage profits.
Greeting all guests and taking beverage and food orders promptly and professionally
Training and scheduling employees to ensure proper coverage. Monitoring performance and recommending corrective action. Alerting management of potentially serious issues.
Promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Making appropriate service recovery gestures according to established guidelines.

What are the requirements for this role?

Basic reading and writing abilities
Strong communication/customer service skills as a significant amount of time are spent interacting with guests
Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or provincial government agencies.
Available to work any shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overnight when required
1 year of Food and Beverage outlet experience
