Description

As a Digital and Screen-Printing Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with digital and screen printing projects.

Using our estimating software to establish the price for specific customer requirements, enabling our sales team to provide competitive pricing.

Your expertise in printing technologies, materials, and production processes will be essential in providing competitive quotes.

This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and effective communication to collaborate with our sales team and production staff.

Responsibilities:

Review Client specifications and artwork files to understand project requirements.

Using our estimating software and tools to calculate printing costs based on customer/ project specifications, considering printing method (digital or screen), substrate type, finishing requirements, equipment capabilities, outsourcing, and deadline.

Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, including breakdowns of costs and production timelines, to present to clients for approval and invoicing purposes.

Collaborate closely with sales representatives, production managers, and clients to clarify project details and address concerns to meet client expectations and project deadlines.

Stay updated on advancements in digital and screen-printing technologies, materials, and processes to enhance estimation accuracy and efficiency.

Work closely with production teams to ensure that estimated costs align with actual production processes and maintain quality standards throughout the printing process.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within the printing industry, with a strong understanding of digital and screen printing processes, materials, and equipment.

Proficiency in using estimating software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word).

Strong analytical and mathematical skills to accurately calculate costs and assess project feasibility.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in estimates and project specifications.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, sales teams, and production staff.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find solutions efficiently.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Experience
Project management and/or previous experience working in the printing industry preferred.

Detailed Oriented with exceptional analytical and math skills.

Ability to source products with existing vendors.

Computer literate.

Pay:
$23.00-$26.00 per hour
