Description
The Heavy Equipment Manager will organize, distribute, oversee, and assign the daily workload. Maintain the overall repairs, maintenance and functionality of heavy off-road equipment, and screening plants. Motivate the employees and manage the daily operations. Ensure each operator receives the equipment with a high level of customer service.Benefits

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy duty and other construction machinery.
- Assist the team in "how to" troubleshoot the equipment, and screening plants.
- Coordinate and plan to determine equipment needs.
- Supervise equipment, technicians(mechanics) and others who work with equipment.
- Plan, manage, organize, and regulate maintenance/upkeep.
- Manage the preventive maintenance.
- Oversee materials, parts, and finished products to maintain equipment.
- Overhaul and repair electric and fuel system engines.
- Oversee and inspect work.
- Provide guidance and advice on issues.
- Set objectives for staff.
- Make decisions which impact the achievement of the work.
- Oversee cleanliness and safety of the shop and yard.
- Maintain detailed records and organization plans.
- Provide management updates; maintenance, repairs, and performance of staff.
- Work with departments to schedule repairs and maintenance.
Working Hours:
- Business hours are Monday to Saturday
- Management will provide a schedule. May be required to be on call or/available for assistance on any emergency repair.
Competencies:
- Licensed 310T and or 421A an asset.
- 35 relevant years of experience.
- Thorough knowledge of power, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Strong leadership skills and computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
- Ability to flourish in a fastpaced environment.
- Manage multiple relationships well.
- Problem and conflict management skills.
- Able to handle pressure and remain calm in all situations.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Customer service orientated positive, professional, and responsive.

BALP
Pay:
$120,000.00 per year
