About the role
We're looking for a Security Analyst I to join our growing team

What you will do here:

Assist with operational tasks including but not limited to the integration, configuration, deployment, and monitoring of security policies using with CASB, WAF and CSPM technologies.
Participate on technical meetings with team members and stakeholders, as well as submit meeting minutes and action items after each meeting.
Assist with the assessment of cloud security risks and security recommendations.
Research capabilities of installed technologies such Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Cloud Security Access Broker (CASB).
Create and manage reports on security metrics.
Support company's objectives by ensuring established procedures and guidelines are respected.
Perform ad hoc administrative tasks, analysis etc. as needed

What you bring to the table:

Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or a related field
Available to work with us fulltime (35 hours per week) for the Summer 2023 (May
September)
Ability and desire to learn/adapt quickly to a changing environment
Ability to analyze and communicate complex results
Possess basic knowledge of Cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and security practices.
Knowledge on Security frameworks (ISO 27k, NIST, CIS, CSA) is considered an asset.
Basic Experience with Security tools associated to WAFs, CSPM and WAF is considered an asset
Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
