Job Details

About This Role
We are looking for someone to develop and implement Technology Controls and Information Security related policies, programs and tools.

You will provide specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect TD.

You may also participate on projects of moderate to high complexity and provide complex reporting, analysis, and assessments at the functional, business line or enterprise level.

Here's some of what you may be asked to perform:


  • Evaluate the organization's data security needs and risks.
  • Analyze current data handling practices and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Develop customized DLP strategies and policies based on the organization's requirements.
  • Create data security policies, rules, and procedures for monitoring, detecting, and preventing data breaches.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure policies align with industry regulations.
  • Continuously monitor data traffic and user activities to detect potential breaches.
  • Develop and implement incident response plans in case of data leaks or security incidents.
  • Ensure the organization's compliance with relevant data protection regulations
  • Generate regular reports on DLP system performance and incident metrics.
  • Collaborate with various stake holders to address security concerns and provide solutions.
  • Offer strategic advice on data security improvements and enhancements.
  • Stay up to date with the latest DLP technologies, security threats, and industry best practices.

Job Requirements

It helps if you have:

  • University Degree.
  • Information Security Certification / Accreditation an asset.
  • 7+ years of relevant information security experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Data Loss Prevention technology, Data Protection Strategy, IT security and risk disciplines and practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of of organization, technology controls, security and risk issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in complex, comprehensive or large projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to serve as a lead expert resource in Data Loss Prevention technology controls and information security for project teams, the business, organization and outside vendors.
