What responsibilities will you have in this role?

  • Follows up as necessary.
  • Provides clerical support for the IELTS Test Centre through mailing, filing, filling in forms, computer data entry and ensuring a professional looking and organized centre.
  • Keeps track of a schedule of filing and material destruction tasks to be completed to British Council timetable.
  • Updates the website and communicates with the website team to ensure information is current.
  • Prepares employee contracts on Cornerstone and follows up with staff and sends to Manager for approval.
  • Maintains an inventory of supplies and orders as necessary.
  • Provides support to IELTS examiners.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

What qualifications do you need for this role?

  • Twoyear diploma/degree from a recognized postsecondary institution in Business or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years' IELTS invigilator experience; experience providing excellent customer service while working with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problemsolving skills; exceptional attention to detail and routine.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Discretion, sound judgement and a commitment to preserving strict confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated commitment in delivering excellent service in supporting the success of students and College employees.
  • Flexibility in adapting to change and in participating in consultative decisionmaking processes.

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.


Interview process may consist of a practical skills component.
