In the Bombardier Manufacturing System, you are the "how"; you have to define how to build aircraft. Your main responsibilities are to define and implement methods to build and assemble aircraft efficiently. You are the link between the Engineering and Production Departments.


In your role, you will:

  • Analyze and process requests for the creation of Material Master Data;
  • Create the Material Master Data (SAP) views necessary for the parts creation, assembly books, modification notices, subsets, details, etc.;
  • Act as focal point for the Logistics Department for the management of the action sheets;
  • Assign and maintain the profiles of Logistics Agents (MRP controllers & Purchasing groups);
  • Maintain the integrity of master data, analyze error reports and correct them (Data cleansing);
  • Work closely with engineering, production, methods, logistics and quality functions;
  • Produce and present reports and KPIs required by management;
  • Investigate and analyze the root causes of problems and propose potential solutions by assessing the costs, impacts and risks of a change in production;
  • Participate in the update and development of Master Data procedures (in collaboration with other functions);
  • Facilitate the introduction and implementation of new IT solutions (e.g. SAP, EWM, S4 HANA, etc.)

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Engineer, Logistics or Administration /or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in aeronautics or in a manufacturing industry, axed on Material Master.
  • You have a developed team spirit and customer mindset and an ability to work under pressure.
  • You are an organized, curious, dynamic and meticulous person.
  • You have a good knowledge of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
  • You are proficient in the French and English languages both orally and in writing.
  • Your knowledge and mastery of SAP will be considered essential.
