The ATS Tow Agent is responsible for positioning aircrafts from one point of the airport to another via live taxiways/runways, while maintaining constant radio communications with ATC Ground Control and our Operations Coordinators.

In addition, the tow agent will operate various airport equipment such as Jet Bridges and Gate Power units to service aircraft.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Utilizing Towbarless aircraft tugs
  • Experience leading wing walkers;
  • Tow aircraft / Brake Riding aircraft;
  • Maintain excellent twoway radio communication;
  • Provide mobile support for aircraft set up and tow teams;
  • Operate various ground equipment;
  • Operate Jet Bridges and gate support equipment;
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of coworkers, the safety of customers and the safety of company assets;
  • Ensure safely standards are maintained via Safety Management System (SMS);
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Valid driver's license and D License
  • Full Raic
  • 1 year experience as in a leadership role
  • Demonstrated ability to operate ground vehicle equipment;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision;
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a ROC (radio license);

Preferred:


  • 2 years widebody towing experience
  • Experience operating heavy equipment/multi axle trailers an asset.
