Classic LifeCare is a family owned and operated home care agency that has been providing exceptional home health care experiences and nursing support for 50 years in Alberta and BC.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Clinical Support - Ensuring that Classic LifeCare is abiding by our contractual obligations, in terms of reporting, employee education, client safety, development of careplans, client assessments, case management, etc.


Teaching/mentoring/training - identify within each contract what learning gaps exist, support development and training as needed, in the field or in office.


Education - strengthen the clinical nursing supervisors in their roles to support contractual obligations. Ensure that Classic is providing the appropriate training for field employees to meet our obligations.


Safety - ensuring that Classic is complying through our systems, incident reports, and home visits


Relationships with Funders - build and maintain strong relationships with our funders


Leadership - ability to lead and develop the Classic LifeCare nursing team to work independently and efficiently, ensure accountability for each of their roles with a focus on equal opportunities and responsibilities.


Qualifications:


  • Current LPN or RN registration with the CLPNA or CRNA in good standing.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check.
  • Strong experience in pediatric care & home care.
  • Strong experience in case management.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong leadership, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills.
  • Have a reliable vehicle and driver's license.
