What you'll do
***- Manage data inputs from multiple clinics into the BCCHR Data Management platform, ensuring accuracy of collection.

  • Collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to develop and implement a standardized registry to support Mental Health research.
  • Consult with Clinical and Research leads to integrate standardized clinical measures into the registry.
  • Provide system users with electronic data management system orientation and training sessions, based on the Data Management Plan.
  • Maintain training material for developed registry, ensuring that it is uptodate. Provide reference materials, online tutorials, promotional materials and presentations to system users.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with users, data management team and technical support staff to ensure that information is exchanged regarding system upgrades, reoccurring problems and training issues.

What you bring

Qualifications:


  • A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or business discipline.
  • Three (3) years of recent, related experience working in clinical research and/or a mental health field.
You will also have

  • Demonstrated experience in MS Office and a high degree of competency with Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate knowledge between ITpersonnel and clinical teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and organizational skills as well as a strong attention to detail.
  • Proven capability in identifying problems and developing creative solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure with a diverse group of people, policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC and BC's Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act
  • Knowledge of social, economic, political and historical realities impacting indigenous communities and familiarity with Indigenous Cultural Safety and antiracism and accompanying reports (BC DRIPA, TRC, etc.).

Job Type:
Temporary, Full-Time (until August 27th 2024)


Salary Range:
$60,427 - $86,863/year.
