As our Vancouver Island Operations Manager, you will strive to achieve excellence and make your mark on a company and industry that is truly unique


As a Operations Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Imaging and mapping concrete structures using non-destructive methods, analyzing collected data, and marking results on site
  • Creating professional reports, maintaining drawings and structural documentation
  • Operating, maintaining, transporting, organizing, and cleaning tools and equipment
  • Engaging with other trades and technicians in a professional manner
  • Ensuring health and safety guidelines are strictly met
  • Oversee projects, coordinating budgets, estimates, deadlines and deliverables for Island customers
  • Reviewing weekly and monthly project status reports and evaluating that schedules or plans will meet project goals
  • Developing sales strategies and tactics to increase brand awareness and opportunities for Xradar
  • Working alongside various stakeholders to ensure projects and commitments are completed on time and within budget
  • Attracting and retaining new team members
  • Developing and providing coaching to team members to develop and maintain superior performance
  • Enforcing Company and project safety plans at all project sites to ensure Company and subcontractor safety compliance.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Company values and strategic plan.
  • Support published corporate policies.

On your resume, we will be looking for the following:

  • 5+ years of experience managing construction teams required
  • Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification preferred
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Your ability to be trained in Burnaby with the team for a minimum of 4 months (support provided to be on the mainland until training is completed)
