JOB SUMMARY:

The Heavy Equipment Operator will have the ability to competently operate
skid steer, loader, excavator or rubber tier backhoe. They will report to a Lead Hand/Foreman to assist in the installation of electrical and underground utilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work
    6 days a week (Monday to Saturday),
    10 hours a day.
  • Operate the equipment as required such as
    skid steer, loader, rubber tire backhoe and excavator

Dig, backfill, and sand trenches with heavy equipment.

  • Perform
    preventative maintenance procedures on equipment.
  • Adapt to change in a fastpaced environment.

Team Player:


  • Perform labour tasks as needed.
  • Site setup and cleanup.
  • Adapt to changing priorities.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Valid
    Class 5 driver's license &
    reliable transportation required.
  • Must be able to lift
    50
    lbs.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
  • Willing & able to work in all weather conditions.
