Role Overview:

Project Coordinator who can work with the project's many stakeholders, including senior management, staff, and external vendors. This role will support the Project Manager as well as the various Stream Leads. Project coordination is an integral component of the successful planning and implementation of these projects.

The Project Coordinator will be a critical centralized point of contact for a variety of reporting and project logístical needs.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Project Manager and Stream Leads in maintaining the project schedule and logs.
  • Assist the Project Manager with budget tracking, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Collect and validate status information from the different Stream Leads and compile Project Status Reports.
  • Work with the Project Manager to collect, organize and report on key project metrics and dashboards. Collect, consolidate, and analyze project data from various sources to identify issues and/or risks, and establish recommendations to mitigate or correct them.
  • Maintain project management tools including Microsoft Project and others.
  • Maintain the SharePoint project collaboration site, including user access/permissions, team calendar, deliverables log, issue log, risk log, action log, document libraries, etc.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional Stream Leads and provide project management process and tooling support.
  • Support continuous process improvement and project governance.
  • Record and issue meeting minutes, action items, and decisions.
  • Create and deliver presentations/reports to the Project Manager and project team.
  • Plan and coordinate project activities and events.
  • Ensure compliance with the Program & Project Delivery Methodology.
  • Assist the Project Manager in other projectrelated activities as required

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Have 3+ years of experience providing project management support, including
  • Project financial tracking, updating, and reporting.
  • Project schedule maintenance and reporting.
  • Project status reporting and stakeholder communication.
  • Have a solid understanding of project management principles and best practices; holding a PMP certification is an asset.
  • Able to manage internal and external partners and vendors.
  • Have substantial risk, financial, and schedule management skills.
  • Have a strong ability to prioritize tasks, especially in situations with competing requirements.
  • Have excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Have excellent, clear, and concise communication skills and proficient writing skills for the preparation of reports and project correspondence.
  • Have the ability to establish rapport and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, team members, and external suppliers.
  • Have the ability to work as a team member and leader and to leverage the capabilities of diverse groups of individuals to deliver results.
  • Have excellent collaborative and consensusbuilding skills within a project team, various stakeholders, and management.
  • Be reliable, take initiative, and work with discretion and decisiveness.
  • Have excellent customer relationship management skills.
