    Job Description:
    AGAT Laboratories is a full-service laboratory with locations across Canada, showcasing a team of highly-skilled scientists in various specialized fields such as biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, geology, and engineering. With state-of-the-art instrumentation, the team offers comprehensive solutions catering to sectors like Environmental, Energy, Mining, Transportation, Industrial, Agri-food, and Life Sciences.

    Summary:
    Currently, AGAT Laboratories seeks a dedicated Laboratory Technician C with introductory experience in using Porosity / Permeability instrumentation. The role follows a seasonal schedule of four days on and four days off, from 8 AM to 8 PM, with an anticipated end date of September 1st, 2024. The successful candidate will work independently on lab activities and collaborate effectively with team members at the Rock Mechanics Lab in Calgary.

    Duties:
    - Perform basic lab procedures, sample preparation, and calibration
    - Provide general lab support and maintain equipment
    - Compile, verify, and validate accurate data records
    - Adhere to quality control procedures and report results
    - Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    - Technical Diploma or Degree in a related field
    - 0-2 years of prior lab experience
    - Familiarity with Core Porosity / Permeability instruments
    - Proficiency in Excel and reporting
    - Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
    - Fluency in English, both verbal and written
    - Ability to lift 25+ pounds on a regular basis
