Description

Parents of a moderately autistic and dyslexic child with Apraxia, 7-years old, in Grade 2, literate and progressively verbal, require a Communications Disorder Assistant for weekday afternoons 3:15-5:15pm, plus 1 weekend shift.

Experience working with autistic children required.

The individual will engage in after-school play-based learning that encourages and promotes age-appropriate academics, literacy, speech and social interaction. Speech focuses will include articulation, speech patterns and sounds. Reading challenges will also be a focus.

It is necessary to live in the East Mississauga/Burnhamthorpe area

Salary:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour
