Shop Hand & Yard Person (Grande Prairie)
We are seeking an energetic and positive applicant to take on multiple roles in our Grande Prairie location.

You will be responsible for assisting in the shop as required, organizing and maintaining the placement of machines, attachments, and parts within our yard, and supporting other facets of the business as necessary.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Helping customers and other staff as necessary.
Meet and assist transport personnel who are delivering or picking up equipment, parts or attachments from EMSCO.
Operate a wide range of machines in a safe manner.
Work collaboratively with service, parts and sales departments for moving goods in, out and around EMSCO.
Yard maintenance, and general building maintenance duties as assigned.
Assist in shop with various duties when required.

Qualifications

Valid class 5 drivers license.
Experience operating heavy equipment including wheel loaders, dozers, excavators, motor graders, etc.
Excellent communication skills.
Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
Highly organized.
A willingness to have flexibility in hours to accommodate the needs of our customers.
Forklift certification.
