Description

Ambient Mechanical is seeking pipefitters to join our retrofit team.

Our progressive growth in the retrofit market has opened up opportunities for individuals to join a technology-driven organization helping its customers achieve their energy-saving goals through our innovative designs and engineered systems.

The position entails the installation related to piping to boiler rooms, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and valves related to commercial office towers and residential condominiums.

This is a Union Position and hiring and compensation is as per the Collective Agreement.

Work will involve:

Measure, layout, cut, thread, and weld pipe for mechanical installations

Select the type and size of pipe required
Weld, braze, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of the piping system
Test system for leaks
Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
Supporting the needs of our client base

Experience:

We are seeking unionized journeymen who are able to work in a team environment and are willing to share their skills and experience with team members while learning and developing their own skills.

Our environment is very customer-driven with a high expectation to deliver a high-quality result to all our retrofit projects.
