We are seeking out an enthusiastic and self-motivated full-time Front Desk Administrator to join our team at Valley Fiber. This position reports to the Customer Service Manager.

Who You Are:

  • Previous administrative and/or customer service experience is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Previous experience in maintaining highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • High level of adaptability with frequently changing processes
  • Ability to deescalate difficult interactions with customers
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to focus on monotonous tasks for long periods of time
  • Ability to collaborate well in a team environment
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Ability to problem solve effectively

What You'll Do:

  • Be the first point of contact for customers and directing customer inquiries for walkins
  • Assist customers with processing payments
  • Monitor inboxes
  • Receive packages and direct them accordingly
  • Monitor log in sheets for data centre and main office guests
  • Facilitate equipment returns
  • Direct operator phone calls to the appropriate departments
  • Ad hoc data entry and ticketing as required
  • Order office and grocery supplies for the main office
  • Order lunches for various meetings as requested
  • Ensure boardroom is presentable between meetings
  • Order printer supplies from Office Innovations

Working Conditions:

  • Remaining seated at a desk for several hours a day
  • Ability to work on a computer and answer phone calls for several hours a day
