This is for two full time permanent positions working 75 hours bi-weekly.**

Our need

  • Procure a variety of required goods and services to support existing and new programming.
  • Provide advice based on best practices in Public Procurement across all levels of Health and Social Services.
  • Support program areas to complete procurement documents.
  • Initiate and manage complex procurements.
  • Navigate multiple financial systems for the implementation of procurements.
  • Work with the vendor community, public, Non-Government Organizations and First Nation Governments to successfully complete procurement processes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications listed below specifically how your work experiences and related duties align with these essential qualifications. Note that selection for further consideration will be based on the information you provide in your resume._
  • Procurement experience in a corporate setting.
  • Experience working in finance, financial services or public sector finance, and preparing a variety of financial documents
  • Experience performing and analyzing research.
  • Experience working with computerized financial management information systems, paired with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Certification or working toward certification in a Public Sector Procurement Program (PSPP) or equivalent would be an asset

Job Requirements:

Works in an office setting, exposure to Video Display Terminal (VDT) at least 90% of the time and requires the occasional period of overtime to meet operational deadlines.
