Our client, a Cannabis manufacturing company is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team.


The Logistics Coordinator is someone who identify and provide solutions for operational gaps, maintain a smooth workflow between cross-functional teams and ensure proper resource allocation amongst the production area.


Key roles and responsibilities

  • Coordinate all areas of the warehouse including picking and packing, shipping and receiving and inventory control to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Compile inventory reports, recording the quantity, type and value of materials, equipment and stock on hand.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, prices, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability.
  • Compile inventory reports, recording the quantity, type and value of materials, equipment and stock on hand.
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish materials, equipment and stock in a timely manner
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing files and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Postsecondary Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience in a production, manufacturing environment or similar considered an asset.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fastpaced setting.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problemsolving skills.
