Human Resources Coordinator to join the Human Resources division.

The HR Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the confidential, accurate and timely administration of Agricorp's Human Resources processes and programs.


The Role:


As HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of operational human resources processes and procedures supporting a variety of human resources functions.

The position provides front line support service for various administrative and general inquiries into the Human Resources division, providing the appropriate customer service and escalation of questions or issues to ensure timely and accurate response to employees and leaders.

This role reports to the Manager, Human Resources.


In this role, you will:

  • Provide day to day human resources administration, including generating employee documentation, processing learning requests, supporting recruitment and compensation processes, generating reports
  • Ensure employee records are accurate and complete by updating and maintaining employee information in a human resources information system (HRIS)
  • Provide firstline HRIS support for employees and managers
  • Lead components of onboarding new hires processes, including providing and presenting information about general payroll processes and learning requirements to support new hire orientation
  • Maintain HR filing, archiving, and retrieval in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Provide administrative support to the HR leadership team, as required, ensuring the HR office is functioning effectively
  • Participate in departmental and divisional HR project teams and initiatives, as required

Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary diploma or degree in a businessrelated discipline (human resources preferred) or equivalent experience
  • 13 years' experience in Human Resources, in an administrative, coordination, or generalist capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills coupled with ability to multitask effectively while contending with conflicting demands
  • Ability to selfmanage work, independently and as part of a team, with demonstrated problemsolving skills and a high attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
  • General understanding of Ontario labour laws and employment standards
  • Experience with human resource information systems (HRIS), particularly UKG Pro, an asset
  • Actively seeking or possessing the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, an asset
