Responsibilities

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Attends daily safety meetings and ensures all tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner;
Drives and operates Hydro Vac Units;
Completing tasks associated with Daylighting excavation, trenching and shoring;
Rigging equipment in and out;
Performs pre and post trip inspections;
Maintains and updates driver's log book;
Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;
Performs roadside repairs;
Completing all required paperwork on a daily basis;
Works as part of a team with Customers, Coworkers & Supervisors.

Qualifications

Ability to travel 50% annually required;
2 years of Hydro Vac experience is required;
DZ license is required;
Previous experience in a labour intensive position and working in all types of weather conditions;
Ability to work with mínimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment.
